CanAtDoor uses the WhatsApp Business API, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to send and receive messages from customers. When you message our WhatsApp business number, your phone number and message content are processed through Meta's infrastructure in accordance with WhatsApp's Privacy Policy and Meta's Privacy Policy.
We use WhatsApp Business messaging exclusively for transactional purposes — order confirmations, delivery status updates, and customer support. We do not use it for unsolicited promotional messages. All messaging is either initiated by the customer or in direct response to a customer's inquiry or order.
We access Meta's Business Management APIs solely to manage our WhatsApp Business Account settings and approved message templates used for the above purposes.
4. Messaging & Communication
Communication via WhatsApp or email is initiated by users or sent only for order-related updates, confirmations, and support. We do not send unsolicited promotional messages. By messaging our WhatsApp business number, you consent to receiving order-related communications from us on that number.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — third-party vendors who assist in delivery operations, payment processing, or analytics, bound by confidentiality agreements
- Meta Platforms — as required to operate the WhatsApp Business API

Typically, order and communication data is retained for up to 12 months from the date of collection, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
